For Dean Barnes

All-

We lost a treasure this week.

Dean Barnes passed away, a British guitarist of blues and country, among the greatest, as yet undiscovered by the world.

He was not yet 50, should have had decades left to share his beauty.

We are all going to leave, but hopefully not before our time. Dean was a master of feel, a quiet giant among the many talented and generous musicians I have had the honour to play with. Every note he played on stage with the Lee Ryder Band was clean. clear and heartfelt. ther wi;; be no replacement. God speed Dean, keep in tune until we join you.............
